Reflection Week 7: Using Photos in the Classroom
Larry Ferlazzo is a very smart guy. He offers up tons of ideas in his blog entitled The Best Ways to Use Photos in the Classroom of how to go about using pictures in not only pretty way but also in effective ways. Even more importantly, I feel like, he offers a link to another blog of his called The Best Online Sources for Images that gives plenty of examples of places to get pictures that are free of copyright and can be used by teachers everywhere!
One of his challenges was to create a Photo Challenge where the students compare and contrast two pictures. I decided to give this a try!
Compare these two covers for the same book:
1. What is so different about these two covers?
2. Considering that the cover on the right was the original cover, why would it make sense to change it?
